It all started when…

Friends, Elizabeth Tarbell and Christina Dochtermann, reunited in August 2023 and shared their stories, their passions and their give-back goals. Elizabeth, MBA, business strategist, recognized the tremendous opportunity and need to serve those who serve others through strategic partnerships and observed, through her own work, the impact beautiful spaces and animals had on her clients, when she founded the Two By Two Foundation in 2017 while managing her farm in Bedford NY. Christina, a NREMT, NYS & FL EMT/First-Responder and dedicated volunteer/community-builder, was with desire to share her magnificent new Rounded Crest Farm, in Pawling, NY. Could a partnership come out of this? Were their past interests and present activities aligned? The answer. YES.

Together, Christina and Elizabeth worked diligently refining the mission for the Two By Two Foundation and here it is for us to share: The Two By Two Foundation programming benefits first-responders, health care providers, and caregivers, through restorative animal and nature based experiences.
